In Item 11, the franchisor discloses their obligations to you as a franchisee, including training, marketing, software and other support as it relates the rest of the FDD.

Objective

  • Get a better understanding of your relationship with the franchisor and know what to expect in terms of the support you will receive.

Important Considerations

  • What support is provided to you before the franchise opens?
  • Does the franchisor provide ongoing support after you've opened the franchise, and if so, to what extent?
  • Is the training adequate for you as a business owner? Do they offer the right training and support for your strengths and weaknesses?
  • How does the support you'll receive from this franchise compare to what's offered by other franchise systems?
  • Do the computer and software costs mentioned here align with what's stated in Item 7?
